How Weekly Catering Works

What It Is

Every week Noelle Lorraine Catering prepares a menu of five tasty home-cooked dinners, refrigerated and ready to reheat. You get the pleasure of a hearty, wholesome home-cooked meal, without the time and hassle of having to make it for yourself.

The menu will change week to week, with some variety, but will usually center around one beef dish, one chicken dish, one pork, and one pasta.

Serving Sizes

Big enough to be filling, small enough to not leave too many leftovers. The average dinner portion comes in at about 500 grams total, more or less. That's enough for an adult with a big appetite,or someone with an average appetite and a couple of kids' servings too. Not to mention leftovers for lunch another day. More importantly, it's wholesome, nutritionally balanced, and good for you.

Reusable Containers

Clients pay a $20 non-refundable deposit for plastic freezer-safe containers. Every week clients will return the cleaned, empty containers, and receive their week's meals in a second set.

It's important that clients transfer their meals into their own containers in order to reheat their meals in either the microwave or the oven. Microwaving food in plastic containers makes them all stained and gross, and nobody wants that.

Ordering And Payment

Orders must be paid in advance on or before the Wednesday of the previous week. Noelle Lorraine Catering accepts cash, cheques and PayPal. We would be happy to accept multiple post-dated cheques for advance orders of multiple weeks.

Delivery Options

The week's meals are ready on Sunday. Noelle Lorraine Catering will gladly deliver to any address south of the river for $5, or north of the river or to Sherwood Park for $10. You can stop by and pick it up yourself for no charge, of course.
